The importance of texting and learning how to text
Over the years, our modes of communication have changed a lot. Millions of years ago, humans communicated only through noises and grunts and sign language. Then the ancient Egyptians discovered paper. Though it was crude and made out of leaves, it was a step forward anyway. Later, gradually things changed and people started to communicate by talking. And today we have advanced so much that our lives seem to be incomplete without phones, mobile cell phones, internet and social networking and emails. Text messaging is one of the interesting ways to communicate. People do not always have the time to pick up calls or dial numbers to say something important or urgent. Here is where text messaging comes handy.
A quick sms is fast, smart and easy. It, at the same time gives out our message loud and clear without wastage of that much money, time or energy as compared to a call. Today we have more advanced cell phones which have easy QWERTY keypads. These make text messaging so much easier for us. Instead of pressing down one key again and again we can easily type out a word singularly as each alphabet has a different key in a QWERTY keypad. And the line of arrangement is the same as that on a computer keyboard. So it’s much faster and easier to text this way.
There are also other ways to text. If you are not able to text through your phone, you can go online and register yourself via your mobile number in any of the reputed and leading mobile sms websites. These are free, easy and fast methods to sms people through your number. Some known websites are www.160by2.com, www.ways2sms.com etc. When you register, just make sure that the website in question is a legitimate one. And after that it’s all a smooth ride.
